8th ANNUAL FUNCTION OF DHS on 18th Dec 2023

The 8th Annual function Virasat was celebrated with great pomp and grand splendor at the DOON HERITAGE SCHOOL,Dehradun on 18th Dec. 23

The entire school campus was embellished in an aesthetic manner. Each and every guest was enthralled with the stunning decorations and well organized and systematic arrangement at DHS.

The Grand event was launched with the Lamp Lighting ceremony and auspicious Ganesh Vandana Dance. The Lamp Lighting was done by the Principal of DHS Mrs. Meenakshi Soti along with the Chief  Guest of the show Mr. Shiv Sehgal Principal DSB INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, Rishikesh .

Thereafter all the distinguished guests of honour and the Esteemed Chief guest were welcomed and felicitated with warmth, grace and due respect by the Chairman Capt. Rohit Soti and  Principal Madam of DHS .

 All these luminaries have made an impeccable mark in their respective fields.

 It was followed by the spectacular show comprising of many inimitable presentations of the highest order by the most talented, adept and versatile students of DHS.

The show began with the auspicious Ganesh Vandana dance which was really a power packed performance by the children of DHS.

It was ensued by the most creative and the culturally rich skit named Friendship -THE bond of Love ,manifesting the various facets of “ Friendship and heritage. It was based on the watchword of DHS “Rooting through Culture and Heritage” to the core.

The children of DHS stole the show by their breathtaking performances one after the other.

The various dances namely Childhood dance, Chak Dhum Dhum  and Special day ,  Hani Kara Baapu, Dance based on Friendship named Yaro ki Yaari, Dance based on  friendship – The bond of Love between Krishna and Sudhama named Are Dwarpalo dances by the children portraying the valiant soldiers laying down their life for their friends, dance on Jane nahi denge tujhe were truly matchless and full of vim and vigour in toto.

The audience was spellbound by their splendid performance on the stage and the whole DHS was echoing with the noise and cheer of encore! encore!

The presentation given by the young children was truly out of the world and was admired and cheered by one and all present there in the school campus.

It was succeeded by the mellifluous School choir of DHS sung by the adroit children of DHS under the guidance of their Music teacher. The musical and instrumental rendition given by the versatile Music teacher was worth the money undoubtedly.

The melodious School choir was ensued by the Annual Report presented by The Principal of Doon Heritage School with great flamboyance and elan.

It was succeeded by the Vote of thanks and words of appreciation and extolling of the mega event by the various Guests of honour and the Chief Guest.

Lastly the Finale Dance was presented by the vibrant and vivacious children of DHS with great zeal and zest. All the Guests of Honour and the Chief Guest join hands with the Esteemed Principal of DHS and they all danced to the tune of the Friendship song “TERE JAISA YAAR KHA ”.

The event ended with the National Anthem.

The mega event at DHS became a grand success.

It got kudos, applaud and commended by one and all present in the DHS Campus to witness the gala occasion.The Esteemed Principal of DHS deserve an extra-special mention for her unparalleled leadership and able guidance to make the show a grand accomplishment.

She has led from the front and has taken DHS to a new high by making it one of the best day cum day boarding school in the region in a very short span of time. All the pedagogues of DHS were a part and parcel of the entire grand occasion. They didn’t leave any stone unturned to make the event a grand success.

Renu D Singh( Founder of NGO Samadhan Social Worker, Uttarakhand) Ms. Sadhana Jairaj ( Social Activist Uttarakhand), Dr. Neha Sharma (Activist & BJP leader, Uttarakhand), Ms. Namrata Sharma(Principal, The Horizon School), Dr. Geeta Khanna(Chairperson, Uttarakhand Bal Ayog), Ms. Neha Joshi( Activist & BJP Leader, Uttarakhand, Ms. Minakshi Soti( Principal, Doon Heritage School).

Doon Heritage School, Dehradun celebrated Republic Day 2024

The students and teachers at Doon Heritage School,  the Best CBSE School in Dehradun Dehradun celebrated Republic Day with a patriotic spirit on 26/01/24, Friday. 

The event started with flag hoisting by Captain Rohit Soti (Chairman, Doon Heritage School) followed by the National Anthem. The students, juniors, and seniors sang patriotic songs and even wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion. The students participated in various dance, cultural, and literary competitions to celebrate the occasion. 

 All students  participated in the event with enthusiasm and of course with a promise to be good citizens of our country India 🇮🇳

It’s a proud moment to share this great news amongst you all that our honorable Principal mam has been conferred upon by a PhD degree from Maryland University, USA.The doctorate degree was given in a glittering ceremony at New Delhi. Dr Meenakshi Soti is the Founder Principal of our school a true educationist is an inspiration for all of us after achieving this milestone, she has created history and we pray to God that many more laurals may come in her way in the coming future. Children’s Day celebration

Annual day of Juniors / Children’s Day celebration at DHS

Children’s day is a momentous day in the annals of the Indian educational system. Children’s day was celebrated with gaiety and fervor at the DHS(Best CBSE School in Dehradun) campus on 14th November. Our children put up a commendable show with their vibrant and vivid performance at the stage.

They took the Centre stage by some breathtaking presentations. The skit based on the RAMLEELA, or the Divine Play of Rama stole the show owing to its heart-touching rendition by the tiny tots of DHS. The watchword of DHS “Rooting through Heritage “ was apparent in the show.

Their guides and mentors namely Sonali Sharma Madam, Sapna Thapa Madam, Roma Rana Madam along with our very talented music teacher Mr Dinesh Singh and our versatile dance teacher Swati Paliwal deserve special mention for their untiring efforts and matchless zeal.

The small and extremely talented children of DHS showcased their class and amazing skills by giving their best.

The parents were really elated to see their kids performing on the stage and they applauded the teachers and our most esteemed Principal Madam for making this event a grand success.

VOLLEY BALL EVENT ( NOVEMBER)

The C.B.S.E. Sahodaya Volleyball tournament was hosted by the Horizon School on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th of November 2022. All the senior section boys and girls of Class 11th and 12th participated in it.  The DHS Team put up a very good show at the event. DHS (Best CBSE School in Dehradun ) senior boys played really well and got through the pool stage by defeating the Will field School in the 1st match and the Shri Bharat Mata Mandir Rishikesh in the 2nd match. The DHS Team performed really well and was the runners up in the championship.

DHS has emerged as a great force to reckon with in the field of sports in recent times under the able guidance of its Head Coach, and great sportsman Mr. Yashvir Singh and the junior coach Mr. Manish Thapa. Kudos to both the Great instructors who are instrumental in bringing so many laurels for DHS in the field of sports of late.
